Berlin meets Mexico City’s XAMAN Bar

The Industry Standard a restaurant and bar located in Berlin Neukölln handed over the bar to Anthony Zamora & Romaine Morice from Mexico City’s based XAMAN Bar. They told me that their bar is located in a basement of a not very crowded area and it isn’t easy to find. There is a huge cabinet of plants and a mystic atmosphere. It is a well balanced mixture of good drinks, music and adventure. “Bring joy and pleasure to the guests”, that is what I understood so far of the concept.

The bar counter at the restaurant is small but comfortable. You have a view straight into the open kitchen area. The two bartenders Anthony and Romaine were easy going, very kind and lovely. They brought a variety of mexican inspired cocktails and I tried two. I think it isn’t easy to have guestshifts in other bars because you have to deal with the things that are available. Definitely it’s challenging but keeps your mind open. Here is the gallery of the pictures I took and my scribble of this nice adventure.
